Bill additional to an act for the abolition of imprisonment of honest debtors for debt, Bill to incorporate the Bangor and Showhegan Stage Company, (reported in the House by the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals on petition of Ichabod Russell,) Resolve in favor of Samuel Moore (reported by Mr Smith from the Committee on Claims, on petition of said Moore,) severally read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.
Bill further to prolong the Charter of Batts [?] Bank, " additional to provide for the packing and inspection of pickled and smoked fish, (in new draft) Resolve respecting highways in the County of Waldo, " in favor of Isaac Hodsdor, severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed, in concurrence.
Bill to incorporate the Emerson Sluice Company " to legalize the study of anatomy in certain cases and to protect the sepulchers of the Dead, " authorizing a grant for constructing a road in the County of Washington, " to provide for the instruction of Youth, (as amended) " to incorporate the Proprietors of the Moosehead Dam Company, (in new draft,) " to repeal an "act to incorporate the Odom's Ledge Fishing Company, approved Feb. 1, 1834, Resolve in favor of Reuel Williams, severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.
