Bill to incorporate the Lewiston Falls Manufacturing Company, Bill to incorporate the Buxton Freewill Baptist Society, severally read a second time and ordered to lie on the table.

Resolve in favor of Charles Miller and John C. Glidden, reported by Mr Groton, from the Committee on Claims, on petition of said Miller and Glidden, was read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Mr Cobb from the Committee on Parishes, reported notice to the next legislature on petition of the First Universalist Society in Fryeburgh, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr Pouse from the Committee on Division of Towns, reported notice to the next Legislature on petition of Samuel Lord, and also on Petition of John A. Phelps, severally read & accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr Bradbury from the Committee on State Roads, reported leave to withdraw on Petition of inhabitants of the town of Appleton. " of " " of Berlin. " of Selectmen of the town of Milo severally read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Report giving leave to withdraw on petition of Penobscot Mill Dam Company, together with the petition of S.W. McMahon and others, and the memorial of John Bennoch and others, was taken up & accepted.
