Bill to enable the owners of Meetinghouses to manage the same, reported by Mr Emmons from the Committee on the Judiciary, to which was reported said act, Resolve for the benefit of the town of Princeton reported by Mr Bradbury from the Committee on State Roads on the petition of the inhabitants of said town. Resolve in favor of the town of Baileyville, reported by the same gentleman from the same Committee, on petition of inhabitants of said town; severally read once, and tomorrow at eleven o'clock assigned for a second reading.
Bill to incorporate the East Machias Machias Port Bridge Company, was taken up and indefinitely postponed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
The report of the Conferees on a disagreement between the two Houses, on the Bill to annex a part of the town of Hallowell to the town of Gardiner was taken up. The Senate recede from their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed, adopt the amendment proposed by said Conferees, and pass the same to be engrossed as this amended. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Bill to incorporate the town of Lawmasset [?], " additional respecting Salaries of Judges and Registers of Probate, Bill for incorporating certain persons for the purpose of building a bridge over Kennebec River at Norridgewoch, severally read second time, and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred
