Petition of the town of Ellsworth for the removal of the Shire town of the county of Hancock from Castine to Ellsworth, " of Rufus Hodgdon and others, " of the town of Trenton, and " of the Selectmen of Amherst for the removal of the Courts from Castine to Ellsworth, " of Ebenezer Sawyer and others for incorporation of township No. 8 in the Ninth Range, north of Waldo Patent in Somerset County, Remonstrance of the town of Weld against the proposed new county, were severally read and referred to the Committee on Division and alteration of Counties, in concurrence.
Petition of sundry inhabitants of Otisfield, Harrison, Bridgton, Sebago and Raymond for the incorporation of a town, " of Richmond Loring and others for the incorporation of Township No. 3 in the fourth Range Bingham Purchase, east of the Kennebec River, " of the inhabitants of Plantation No. Thirteen east division of lands in Washington County to be incorporated into a town," of inhabitants of Bluehill for an Act regulating the payment of wharfage at the wharves belonging to said town,
