during his absence, and the amendments were adopted. The Rules and Orders reported by the committee were then adopted as amended. (The Senate dispensed with their vote of the forenoon to take the Yeas and Nay. on the adoption of the 21st Rule.) Mr Meqquire from the Committee appointed to examine the returns of votes for Governor, made a report which on motion by Mr Kingsbery three hundred copies od said report were ordered to be printed for the use of the Members of the Legislature.
