222 Bill authorizing the South School District in the town of East- port to borrow money, was taken up and the House re- ceded from their former vote + referred the subject to the next Legislature.
On motion, Ordered, that the order of the 19th inst, direc- ting the committee on the Pay Roll to deduct from the daily pay of each member of the House the number of days he is absent +c be suspended in its operation.
Resolve, providing for payment of the Adjutant + Quarter Mas- ter Generals accounts, was taken up + the House adhered to their vote postponing the same indefinitely. Sent up.
Resolve in favor of Augustus G. Deal + Samuel Nelson laid on the table by Mr Swan, was read 1st + 2nd time + passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
