Bill additional to an act to prevent the destruction of fish in Denny's River and Pinmaquan came from the Senate, that body refusing to adopt the amendment proposed by the House at A. The House recede from their amendment at A and pass the Bill to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill - to incorporate the Portland Mutual Fire Insurance Company which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence. Report on the request of a committee of the Proprietors of Oxford Bridge, referring the same to the next Legislature came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.
Bill providing for the appointment of a Board of Officers, + for other purposes appertaining to the militia, came from the Senate passed to be engrossed as amended by the House. The House receded from their vote refusing the Bill a third reading further amended the Bill and before the question of passing the same to be engrossed was taken the House
