Bill to regulate the taking of Alewives in Winslows Steam and Leach's Stream in the town of Penobscot, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill to promote the sale and Settlement of Public Lands, was read 1st & 2nd time and tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Resolve in favor of the Mariners Church, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve in favor of Frederic Spofford & Nathaniel Treat, was read 1st & a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill to divide the town of Bristol and incorporate the town of Bremen, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Petition of the Selectmen of Freedom to be set off from Waldo to Kennebec was read & on motion referred to the next Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Central bank was read a third time amended & passed to be engrossed as thus amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve for the relief of John Hobbs was read a 1st time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a second reading

Bill an additional act for regulating marriage and for the orderly solemnization thereof, was amended, read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.
