Resolve to encourage & aid in the Publication of a statistical view & map of the State, came from the Senate amended for concurrence and the House so far receded from their former vote as to concur with the Senate.

Bill additional to an act providing for the payment of costs in criminal prosecutions, reported by the committee on Finance was read a 1st & 2nd time & Monday next at ten oclock assigned for a third reading.

Resolve relative to fires, forfeitures & bills of cost, reported by the committee on finance, was read once & Monday next at ten oclock assigned for a 2nd reading.

Bill prohibiting treats on days of election, passed to be engrossed and the House adhered to their vote of the 5th inst

Bill establishing Bowdoinham Academy, came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature for concurrence - and the House receded from their former vote & concurred with the Senate in the reference.

Bill an additional act respecting the fishery in the seven mile brook in Vassalboro' was read 1st & 2nd time & Monday next at ten oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Resolve in favor of Oldtown Bridge Corporation, came from the Senate that body adhering to their vote refusing the Resolve a passage - The House adhered to their vote of 4th inst. proposed a conference & appointed Messrs Carpenter of Howland Bennock of Orono & Smart of Prospect conferees on their part. Sent up.
