Portland, January 12 1828The foregoing message came from the Senate referred to the committee on Banks & Banking, together with the accompanying documents, for concurrence - and the House concurred.
An order came from the Senate directing that so much of the Governors Speech as relates to the State Prison, with the accompanying Documents be referred to the joint standing committee on the State Prison, for concurrence and the House concurred.

Ordered that Messrs Burnham of Orland, Clark of Limington & Barnard of Dixfield be a committee to take into consideration the expediency of enacting a law which shall oblige counties to assess towns in certain cases to build bridges on County roads, with leave & - read & passed.
