An order came from the Senate for concurrence referring so much of the Governors Speech as relates to the claim upon the United States on account of services of the Militia during the late war to Messrs Megguier and Sweat with such as the House may join - and the House concurred and Messrs Evans of Gardiner, Pattern of Hampden & True of Poland were joined.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence referring so much of the Governors Speech as relates to the Militia & Military Stores and to further provision in Office of the Adjutant & Quarter Master General, to the joint standing committee on Military Affairs - and the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence referring so much of the Governors Speech as relates to supplying the State Library, with the adjudications of other States to the joint standing committee on the Judiciary - and the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence referring so much of the Governors Speech as relates to a Map & Statistical view of the State, to the joint standing committee on Literature & Literary Institutions and the House concurred.

Ordered that the joint standing committee of the Judiciary be directed, to inquire what provisions ought to be made by law for the further and better security of dwelling houses & other buildings against fire, with leave to report ect - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.
