[Bill fish in Dyers River - Resolve. Jas. Irish " Cathanse Bridge " State arsenal]

Bill additional to regulate the taking of Fish in Dyers River as amended in the title, and Resolve in favor of James Irish " relating to Cathanse Bridge, as amended, and Resolve making appropriation fro expenses of the State Arsenal were severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

[Message to H. R State rights]

On motion by Mr. Grover a message was sent to the House of Representatives requesting them to send up the Message of the Governor's message and accompanying Resolutions of the State of South Caroline on the subject of State Rights and the House complied with this request.

Mr. Cushman from the Committee on Literature &c, reported leave to withdraw on the petition of John Warren & others of the town of Hiram. Read and accepted Sent down for concurrence. Concurred

Mr. Washburn had leave to lay on the table Bill fixing the time within which all petition of a private nature shall be presented to the Legislature and the same was once read and committee to Messrs Washburn, Megguire and Dennett.

Resolve relative to fines forfeiture and bill of cost was read once and committee to Messrs Williams, Washburn, & Parons

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of the Bangor Pin Corporation came up with a proposition for a conference which the Senate accept Messsrs Grover, Weston and Richardson Conferees
