Resolve in favor of Bowdoin College, came from the Senate passage refused for concurrence & the House concurred.

Bill - an additional act respecting Banks, was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 1/2 past two oclock assigned for a 3rd reading

Report on the petition of Ralph C Johnson, taken from the last years files of the Senate, came from that body referred to the next Legislature for concurrence & the House concurred.

Report on the petition of John Thompson & als, came from the Senate referred to the committee on turnpikes, bridges & Canals for concurrence & the House concurred.

Petition of Warren Preston, Judge of Probate of Somerset County for an increase of Salary, came from the Senate referred to the select committee of both Houses on the subject of Salaries for concurrence and the House concurred.

Bill - an act additional to an act to regulate the inspection of Beef & Pork intended to be exported from this State, came from the Senate passage refused for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Bill - explanatory of the Act establishing the County of Waldo was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill - in further addition to an act to provide for the education of Youth - an act additional to an act regulating judicial process & proceeding - which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence
