Mr Strout of Limington was appointed instead of Mr Smith of Hollis on the committee to whom was referred the Bill, establishing salaries for Judges and Registers of Probate.

Messrs Gibson of Denmark -Snow of Frankfort have leave of absence after Tuesday next.

Mr Page of Readfield –Chandler of Calais –Benson of China has leave of absence after to day [today] for the remainder of the session.

Mr Adams of Cherryfield has leave of absence after monday next

Mr Hodgman of Warren has leave of absence after Wednesday next.

Resolve providing for the compensation of certain officers of the Legislature, was read once & monday next at 12 o clock assigned for a 2d reading and referred to Messrs Chase of Livermore Delano of Woolwich & How of Turner.

Petition of David Walton & Isaac Russell of School district No 4 in Fayette to be annexed to School district No 10 in Livermore, was read and referred to messrs Clough of Fayette Longfellow of Portland & Chase of Kittery

Resolve in favor of the Cony Female Academy, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve – providing for Clerk hire in the public offices, was read
