Ordered that Messrs Parsons of Sandford [Sanford?], Richardson of Jefferson & Allen of Sedgwick be a committee to enquire into the expediency of passing a law prohibiting the erecting of booths or tents, and selling spirituous liquors, within – rods of any assembly of the inhabitants of any town assembled for the purpose of any annual or other election, read and passed.
