To the Senate and House of Representatives: (see page 202.) I have this morning received from the Executive of Massachusetts a communication covering sundry Resolves, passed by the Legislature of that State, relative to the depredations which have been committed by British subjects, upon the timber and land owned jointly by the two States, which I lay before the two Branches of the Legislature for their information. It is peculiarly gratifying that the measures adopted by the Legislature of this State have been so cordially concurred in by by[sic] the Legislature of Massachusetts. Albion K. Parris. Council Chamber, February 28th 1825.
Description: The journal of the House of Representatives documents the proceedings in the chamber, including actions taken on bills, petitions and reports from committees read, and votes taken. The journals are not transcripts and therefore do not include floor speeches that are found in the modern Legislative Records.
