174 Resolve providing for the security of the public records against firer - was read and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill prescribing the mode of trials at law in certain cases, came from the Senate amended for concurrence and the House concurred - Mr Boutelle moved a reconsideration of the vote passing this Billl to be engrossed & tomorrow at 10 oclock was assigned to take the motion into consideration.

The Committee on the order authorizing a revision of the law defining the powers of Sheriffs & Constables, reported that it is inexpedient to take any further order on that subject - report accepted.

Bill in addition to an act to provide for the Education of the Youth - came from the Senate, that body insisting upon their amendment at B. - The House receded & concurred the Senate in passing the Bill to be engrossed as by them amended

Resolve in favor of Abijah W Thayer, came from the Senate amended for concurrence and the House concurred.

Bill in addition to an act for the settlement of certain equitable claims arising in real actions - was read a 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading

Resolve laying a tax on the several Counties, came from the Senate in a new draft for concurrence and the House concurred and further amended the new draft. Sent up for concurrence.
