Bill in addition to the several acts for the preservation of Fish in Penobscot River & - to set off certain tracts of land and certain persons, with their estates from the town of Shapleigh & to annex the same to Lebanon - additional to an act prescribing the mode of taking Depositions - - to incorporate Admomiram Lodge - - in addition to an act for the relief of School Districts in Freeman & Phillips - - to incorporate the Proprietors of the Mill Dam Bridge - were passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill in addition to an act to provide for the education of Youth, came from the Senate with the sundry amendments fir concurrence and the House [underlined]non concurred.
Bill to apportion & asses on this State a tax of forty five thousand [crossed out]five one hundred and six dollars & eighty four cents, (reported by Committee of Finance) was read 1st & 2d time and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.
Ordered that a roll of the members be called at precisely nine oclock tomorrow morning and that every member who shall be absent be fined [crossed out?]one days pay - read & passed.
Adjourned until nine oclock tomorrow morning.
