157. and collection of taxes, reported by the Committee who had that subject under consideration, was read a 1st & 2d time and referred to the Committee on finance.

Bill in addition to the several acts respecting Work Houses and Houses of Correction, was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Adjourned until nine oclock tomorrow morning.
