131. Bill repealing a part of an act against Hawkers, Pedlars & Petty Chapman was called up and indefinitely postponed.

Petition of Giles H Hawes to be admitted as an attorney to the C. C. Pleas, was read & referred to Messrs Fessender of Portland Stephenson of Gorham and Cunningham of Edgecomb.

Petition of Lydia Davis for leave to change her name, was read & referred to the Committee on change of names.

Bill prescribing the mode of trials at Law in certain cases, reported by the Committee render order of 29th JanY) was read 1st&2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d Reading.

Bill additional to ana ct for the limitation of actions real and personal & writs of Error, was read 1 & 2d time & referred to Messrs Benson of China, Pike of Bridgeton, McCrillis of Belfast, Eastman of Palermo and White of Monmouth.

Bill to present the buying & selling of dormant titles, was read 1st & 2nd time & referred to the last named committee.
