Bill for the benefit of Waterville College,” passed to be engrossed in the House, came up for concurrence, was read once and committed, and tomorrow at 11 oclock assigned for a 2d reading. -

[Reports on Petitions]

Mr. Dunlap from the committee, on petitions of the Trustees of Bangor Academy,” and of the Trustees of China Academy,” reported that they have leave to withdraw their petitions: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence: - concurred. -

[Bills enacted]

Mr. Ripley from the committee on engrossed Bills, reported a Bill to incorporate Temple Lodge,” and Bill further in addition to an Act concerning foreign attachment,” to be truly copied, and they were passed to be enacted. -

Resolve for the admission of Daniel Clark to practice law in the Court of Common Pleas, and for other purposes,” and Resolve in aid of the Gardiner Lyceum,” and they were passed.

Mr. Holland from the committee, on petition of Reuel Weston, reported a Resolve granting compensation to Reuel Weston”, which was read once and committed, and tomorrow at 11 oclock assigned for a 2d. reading.
