[Bill - Courts of Probate]

Bill additional to an act to regulate the jurisdiction & proceedings of Courts of Probate, was referred to the next Legislature by the House in concurence with the Senate.

[Resolve - Account agst State]

Resolve additional to a Resolve for the payment of Accounts against the State, - came from the Senate amended at A for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Resolve - pay Chaplains]

Resolve granting compensation to the Chaplains of the Senate & House of Representatives, - was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

[Resolve - deaf & dumb]

Resolve providing for the education of the deaf & dumb, came from the Senate amended for concurrence - & the House concurred.

[Bill - Courts of Session]

Bill additional to an at to establish a Court of Sessions, came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature - & the House concurred.

[Resolve - State Printing]

Resolve making an appropriation for State Printing - was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

[Pay of John Sayward]

Ordered, that the Committee on the Pay Roll be directed to make up the pay of John Sayward, the member for Alfred, until the day he left Portland, - he having returned home on account of indisposition. - read & passed.

[Bill - endorsement of Writs]

Bill, respecting endorsement of Writs, came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature for concurrence & the House concurred.

[Bill - Sebago Pond Steam Nav. Comp.]

Bill to incorporate the Sebago pond Steam Navigation Company was read 1st & 2d time & referred to Messrs Richardson, Joseph Adams of P. & Slemmons.

[Resolve - pay Messenger]

Resolve to pay the Messenger of the House & for other purposes, was read once & referred to Messrs White, Elden & Richardson.
