Report on petition of Selectmen of Farmington recommending a reference of the subject to a special committee of both Houses was read & accepted in concurrence - and the petition then referred to Messrs Campbell & Witham of the Senate & Parlin, Butterfield & Brown of the House
[Bill - repeal - Banks &c]
Bill (from Senate) to repeal the 2d sec. of an act entitled an act to restrain unincorporated Banking Associations & for other purposes - was read once & tomorrow at 11 oclock assigned for a 2d reading.
[Report - Thos Snows election]
The committee on elections reported a statement of facts in relation to the election of Thomas Snow returned as a member from Frankfort - The report was assigned for consideration at 10 oclock tomorrow-

Petition of John Lowell for a Law authorizing certain Guardians to convey certain lands held in trust - of Bethel for an additional term of the C C P. & S.J.C. in Oxford County - Lemuel Shaw Adm' on estate of Martha Cochrane for leave to sell lands &c were severally read & referred to the committee on new trails . Sent up for concurrence.
