[Resolve - Electors of Pres.]

Resolve providing for the choice of Electors of President & Vice President was called up & referred to Messrs Isaac Adams Lord & Spring of Saco.

[Reports]

Reports on petition of Cotton B Brooks - on petition of Committee of Clinton - on petition of Enoch Page & als - on petition of John Frost 2 & als of Sandford - on petition of Nathan Lord & others granting orders of notice, came form the Senate accepted for concurrence & the House concurred.

[Bill - Min. & School Lands]

Bill to provide for the Sale & distribution of Ministerial & school lands was read a second time, amended at A and tomorrow at 10' oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

[Committee - exempting Minors from taxation -]

Ordered that Messrs McLure, Dennison & Chandler be a committee with such as the Senate may join to take into consideration the expediency of passing an act exempting minors from the payment of a poll tax - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Bill - Lottery]

Bill - an act additional to the act authorizing a lottery for the benefit of the Cumberland & Oxford Canal Corporation - was read once & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading

[Bill - Winthrop Bank]

Bill to incorporate Winthrop Bank, was read a 2d time, amended at A & B in 3d section and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading
