Bill to incorporate the Saco and Ossipee Log navigation Company, passed to be engrossed in the House, came up for concurrence, was read once and committed to Messrs Steele, Witham and Dunn, and Monday next at 10 oclock assigned got for a 2d reading.-

Bill to change the names of sundry persons, passed to be engrossed in the House, came up for concurrence, and was read twice and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House.-

[Resolve]

Resolve in favor of Joseph Griffin was read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House.-

[Report of Conferees Bill]

Mr. Anderson from the committee of conference on the subject of the difference of the two Houses upon the "Bill providing for the government of the State Prison," reported that the Senate ought to recede from their vote and concur with the House; which report was read and accepted, and the Bill was passed to be engrossed as amended, in concurrence with the House.-

[Bill]

Bill additional to the act for the relief of Poor Debtors then passed to be engrossed as amended in a new draft, 10 in favor and 7 against its passage ; sent down for concurrence. (concurred Feb. 23d.)

[Resolve]

Resolve providing for the choice of Electors of President and Vice President, came up, and the House adhere to their vote by which they passed the Resolve to be engrossed in a new draft : and the Senate adhere to their vote passing the same to be engrossed as in the original draft, and appoint Messrs Usher, Wilkins and Chandler conferees to confer with a committee from the House on
