Resolve on petition of Charles P. Curtis, and Resolve for opening a road north of the militia acres: and they were severally passed.-


Resolve relating to the erection of a Court House in Lincoln County, was read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed : sent down for concurrence.-


Bill to prevent foreigners from cutting timber in the Indian'd Land, was read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed : sent down for concurrence.-

The returns of the number of the Deaf and Dumb persons in this State, committed in the House to Messrs Hutchinson, Dunn and Marsh with such as the Senate may join, came up for concurrence, and was read and concurred, and Messrs Wilkins & McCobb were joined.-


Bill additional to the act regulating damages in inland Bills of Exchange, came up with amendments in a new draft : and the Senate adopt a further amendment and now pass the same to be engrossed as amended: sent down for concurrence.-

Bill additional to an act for the better securing and rendering more effectual grants and donations to pious and charitable purposes, was read a 2d time and refused passage.-
