of regulating the inspection of Clean Pork, with leave to report by Bill or otherwise, came up for concurrence, and was read and concurred and Messrs Chandler and Steele were joined.-


Bill to annex a part of Buxton to Standish, was read and the Senate reconsider their vote by which they adopted the amendment at B, and adopt a further amendment by addind a 3d Section, and now pass the Bill to be engrossed as amended : sent down for concurrence.-

Bill to set off Jonathan Powers and als. from Palmyra to Warsaw, was read once and committed, and tomorrow at 10, a clock assigned for a 2d reading.-

Mr. Witham from the committee on engrossed Bills reported a Bill authorize the sale of Ministerial lands in the second Parish in the town of Shapleigh, and for other purposes, " to be truly copied, and it was passed to be enacted.-

[Report on Petition]

Mr. Wheeler from the committee, on the petition of Thomas Stevens, reported that he have leave to bring in a Resolve : Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence.-


Bill respecting public shows and exhibitions wa taken up and referred to Messrs Usher, Dennett and McCobb.-


Resolve in favor of Jedediah Herick, was read once and committed, and tomorrow 10 oclock assigned for a 2d reading.-
