[1824] [January 27] [Petition referred] Petition of Joseph Whitney of Calais for a Grant of land, committed in the House to the Committee on State Lands, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

[Resolves] Resolve in favour of Daniel Rose and others was read a 2nd time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

Resolve in favour of George Watson was read a 2nd time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

[Report] Mr. Anderson from the Committee on so much of the Governors Message as relates to State Prison, reported a [Resolve] Resolve appropriating money for the support of the State Prison, which was read once and committed, and Friday next at 10 O'clock assigned for 2nd Reading.

[Bill] Bill to establish a Ministerial fund in Chesterville, was read a 2nd time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

[Resolves passed] Mr. Witham from the Committee on Engrossed Bills, reported the following to be truly copied, viz: Resolve on the Petition of Parker Noyes; Resolve on the Petition of Jesse Page; Resolve making valid the marriage of George Smith; Resolve on the Petition of John Lowell Administrator of John Lowell deceased. Resolve authorizing the Town of Frankfort to raise money for certain purposes;
