Senate January 21 1824

A message was sent to the House requesting them to send up the Report if the Committee on the Petition of the Selectmen of Frankfurt, and Report of the Committee on the Petition of the Selectmen of Hiram

[Resolve, passed]

Resolve accepting a deed from Joshua Gaye and others, conveying a lot of land for the permanent seat of government, was read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill to annex part of Buxton to Standish, was read once, committed and 10 oclock tomorrow assigned for a 2d Reading.

Mr. Wheeler from the Committee on the Petition of the Selectmen of Frankfort for authority to raise money to indemnity William Page, reported that the Petitioners have leave to bring in a Resolve. Read accepted and sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Mr. Usher from the Committee on the Petition of Jonathan Moore and others, reported that the Petitioners have leave to bring in a Bill. Read accepted and sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Mr. Wheeler from the Committee on the Petition of Poland Tyler of Dixmont, reported that the Petitioner cause an attested copy of his Petition with this order thereon, to be published in the Bangor Register, printed at Bangor, thrice weeks successively
