Mr. Whitney from the same Committee on the Petition of a Committee of the first Parish in Shapleigh, reports that the Petitioners have leave to bring in a Bill. Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence.

[Committee on the Augusta Deed] Mr. Small from the Committee on the Governors Special Message of the 15 Inst. relative to a deed from a Committee of Augusta conveying a lot of land to the State, reports a Resolve which was ordered to lie on the table, when On motion of Mr. Wheeler ordered that 200 Copies of the said deed be printed for the use of the Legislature.

Petition of James Campbell for payment of amount due him for fees as Justice of the late C. C. C. Pleas, was read and referred to the Committee on New Trials. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

[Petitions referred] Petition of the town of Lisbon to be annexed to the County of Kennebec, and

[Remonstrance] Remonstrance of William Sullivan against annexation of part of Swanville to Waldo, committed in the House to the Committee on Towns &c. came for concurrence; and were severally read and concurred.
