[Convention proposed to qualify Counsellors]

"Mr Speaker" "The Senate propose a convention of both Houses at the chamber of the House of Representatives at 12 o'clock this day for the purpose of qualifying such Counsellors elect as are present & have signified their acceptance." The House concurred in the proposition for a convention and the Clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith.

[Committee - Divorces]

Ordered that Messrs Quinnam, Eveleth & Holland be a committee to consider if any alteration in the law regulating Divorces, is necessary with leave to report by bill or otherwise - read and passed.

Washington County to be annexed to Dennysville - of Amos Poor & others of Brownfield to be annexed to Denmark - of Nahum Baldwin & others of Mercer to be annexed to New Sharon - of Eleazer Twitchell & Samuel Cross of Greenwood to be annexed to Bethel - of Jonathan Moore & others of Buxton to be annexed to Standish - of the town of Concord to establish the boundaries of said town - of Peter W Willis & others of Anson to be annexed to the town of Industry - of Smith Baker & others that the South part of Litchfield & the north part of Bowdoin may be incorporated into a town
