"regulating Towns, Town Meetings and the choice of Town Officers." "defining the general powers and duties and regulating the office of Sheriffs & Constables." which were severally passed to be enacted.

Bill - poor debtors Bill "for the relief of Poor Debtors" came back from the Senate amended by striking out and adding instead thereof five ([underlined]new) sections and is now in the House committed to Messrs Brown, Stebbins and Adams and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a third Reading.
