Counsellors - qualified Agreeably to assignment the two Houses met in convention in the Representatives Chamber when James Collins Esq Counsellor elect came in and took and subscribed the oaths prescribed by the Constitution to qualify him to enter upon the duties of that office — the Senate then withdrew —

Report on pet. of Abel Goodell + others The committee on the petition of Abel Goodell & others that township No 9 in the 8th range and township No7 in the 7th range north of Waldo Patent in the County of somerset maybe set off to the County of Penobscot reported an order of notice. The report accepted in Senate, came down for concurrence — and the House concurred.

Report on pet. of pan.[underlined] No 5. in 2nd range. The committee on the petition of plantation No 5 in the second range to be incorporated as a town by the name of Wellington — reported an order of notice — The report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence — and the House concurred.

Report - on pet. of plan. No 6 Oxford County. The committee on the petition of the Inhabitants of Plantations No 6 Oxford County to be incorporated as a town by the name of Westjoy — reported an order of notice. The report accepted in the Senate came down for concurrence — and the House concurred.
