[Committee to contract for door keeper & page] Ordered that Messrs Leach of Vassalboro',Burr, and Trafton be a committee to contract with some suitable person or persons to perform the duties of door keeper and page for this House
A message from the Senate by Mr Sewall their Secretary
[Senate concur in postponing choice of Secretary & Treasury.]
Mr Speaker, The Senate have so far receded from their vote of this morning proposing a convention of both Houses at nine o clock tomorrow morning as relates to the election of a Secretary & Treasurer of State and concur with the House in postponing the election of those officers to some future period - and then he withdrew.
[Treasurer of State directed to furnish abstracts of receipts & expenditures &c] On motion of Gen Russell
Ordered that the Treasurer of State be requested to furnish the House of Representatives with a regular statement and account of the receipts and expenditures of all public money, agreeably to Article 5th. Part 4th Sec. 4th of the Constitution.
[Sundry petitions] Petitions of Thomas Ricker & others of Hartford for leave to sell ministerial & school lands - of the Town of Anson for authority to sell lands belonging to said town - of sundry inhabitants of of Farmington to be incorporated by the name of the Proprietors of the centre meeting house in Farmington - of Officers and Members of United Lodge at Brunswick to be incorporated - of the officers and members of Maine Lodge at Farm-
