23 [to choose Secretary & Treasurer of State] Counsellors to advise the Governor in the executive part of the government the current political year - also to choose a Secretary and Treasurer of State; and request concurrence of the House.
The House concurred and the Clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith.
And then the House adjourned to meet at half past three o clock this afternoon.

Petition of Thomas Clark to be refunded the amount of duties paid by him as Clerk of the Judicial Courts in Oxford - having been removed from office soon after its payment - read and referred to Messers Gray, Alden & Crowell of Whitefield
[vote agreeing to convention for choice of treasurer and secretary of state reconsidered] On motion of Mr Morrell, The vote of this morning concurring with the Senate in their proposition for a convention of the two Houses at nine o clock tomorrow morning was so far reconsidered as to nonconcur the Senate in so much their proposition as has relation to the choice of a Secretary & Treasurer of State with a view to an election of those officers at a future period - and the clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith

Mr Hammond from the committee appointed to consider what further officers, assistant officers, or attendants it may be expedient to appoint made a report which was on motion amended so as to provide for one door keeper and one page and
