17 the provisions of the Resolve passed March 15, 1821 and also ordered that Messrs Hayes of S. Berwick, Tucker and Elden be the said committee.
[Senators chosen to fill vacancies.] Agreeably to assignment the two houses met in convention to fill the vacancies at the Senate Board: and on the ballots being taken it appeared that,
Josiah W. Seaver was elected for the County of York, William Buxton, for the County of Cumberland, Wentworth Tuttle for the County of Somerset & Isaac Case for the County of Penobscot.
The business of the convention being accomplished, the Senators withdrew.
[Committee to extend time of building Rumford Bridge &c] On motion of Mr. Virgin, Ordered, that a committee be raised to take into consideration the expediency of extending the time allowed to the Proprieters of Rumford Bridge for completing said Bridge, with leave to report by bill or otherwise- also Ordered that Messrs Bradbury, Reed and Alden be the said Committee.
Ordered, that when this House adjourns, it be to nine o clock tomorrow morning.
And the House adjourned.
