A letter was received from John Holmes, Esq. signifying his acceptance of the office of Sena[-]tor in the Congress of the United States. Read & sent down. Came up.
Order of notice reported on the petition of the Selectmen of Avon. Read & accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
Committee appointed to agree with same person to take care of the Senate House during the recess and procure fuel for the accommodation of the Legislature at its next session reported a re-solve, which was read & passed and sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
