He was conducted by Mr Strickland to the Governor and Council, before whom he took and subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution to qualify him to enter upon the discharge of his official duties, and took his seat at the Senate Board.

On motion of Mr Greene, Ordered, that when the Senate adjourn, it adjourn till till tomorrow morning at ten o'clock, and the Senate accordingly

Adjourned.
