The same gentleman from the Committee on Public Buildings and also an order relative to warming the State House with furnaces, reported that said Committee had been unable to agree upon any Bill on Resolve and asked to be discharged from further duty - read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Bill additional concerning Meeting Houses (introduced in the House) was read twice. Mr. Benson moved to refer said Bill to the next Legislature and the question of thus referring the same was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit: Yeas Messrs. Allen, Benson, Clark, Greene, Jarvis, Jewett, Johnson, Mantor, Merrow, Pierce, Robinson, Severance and Weeks _____ 13 Nays. Messrs. Fish, Kelsey, Latham, Miller, Staples, Strickland and Swift ____ 7. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Bill additional to promote the sale and settlement of Public Lands - read the second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Report of the Committee on Banks and Banking asking to be discharged was taken up and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
