Mr Holmes from the Committee to wait on the Governor and inform them that the two Houses have passed on all the business before them &c &c reported that they had attended to the duty assigned, and that the governor answered that he would forthwith make a communication to the two Houses by the Secretary of State, after which he should have no further communication to make the present session.

The Secretary of State came in and informed the House, that the Governor had signed in addition to the number before communicated one act and six Resolves making in the whole signed by the governor the present session two hundred & ninety acts & eighty nine Resolves and that the governor had no further communication to make to the Legislature at its present session.

Mr Wilson of Bingham Then rose and said: As the time has nearly arrived when we must leave this Legislative Hall, and separate perhaps never more to meet on earth, it would not be improper to glance a thought over the transactions of the session now about drawing to a close, and compare them with our duty to our God and our Country, and the review affords me these pleasing reflections - 1st That if we have not done all the good we wished to do, yet we have done what we could, and another is, That amidst the multifarious business that has here been discussed, the conflicting interests that have presented their claims and the difference of opinion of equally honest minds, yet a spirit of friendly feeling and personal affection has uniformly prevailed among the members of this House.
