Petitions of Putnam Rolf for authority to construct a dam across the West Branch of Schoodic River at Louies Island Rips - - of Peter G Farnsworth for leave to construct a dam across tide waters at Scicops narrows in Pembroke, read & ref'd to the Committee on Interior Waters. Sent up for concurrence.

Order of Notice on the petition of Eli Twitchell & others was granted in concurrence with the Senate.

Petition of Daniel J. Perley to be remunerated for an error in the conveyance to him of certain lands by the State was read & referred to the Committee on State Lands. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Elisha Hilton for remuneration for services rendered & expenses incurred on the Canada Road was read & referred to the Committee on Claims. Sent up for concurrence.

Agreeably to assignment the two Houses met in convention, when Charles Greene, Councillor elect, came in, and in their presence, before the President of the Senate, took and subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution, to quality him to enter upon the discharge of his official duties.
