51. Petition of the Inhabitants of Brunswick for the abolition of Capital Punishments was referred in concurrence with the Senate to the committee on that subject.

Petition of John K. Smith & Eben Storer for a grant of land was referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on State Lands.

Petition of William Thompson & at for authority to erect a Bridge across Mt. Desert narrows was referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on Roads & Bridges __

Petition of Edward Little & others to be incorporated as a Canal Company was referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on Canals & Rail Roads.

Petition of York Bank for an increase of Capital of Manufacturers Bank Saco in relation to the circulation of small Bills were severally read & referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on Banks & Banking.

Petition of Nelson Savage & others for the incorporation of No 9 in 9th Range; Som't County as a town of assessor of Haskell Plan that the same may be incorporated as a town were severally read & referred to the Committee on the Incorporation of Towns.
