Bill to set off a tract of land from Emden to Anson, was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a third reading & referred in the meantime to Messrs Atten of Norridgewock, Turner of Bridgton & Putnam of Freeman.

Bill to repeal an act entitled an act to incorporate the Trustees of a Fund for the support of the Ministry & Schools in the towns of Orland, was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a third reading.

Bill to incorporate the Trustees of the Charity Fund of Mount Moriah Royal Arch Chapter, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a third reading.

Resolve in favor of Josiah Morrill, was read once & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a second reading.

Resolve in favor of Timothy Hall Junior, was read once & Wednesday next at ten oclock assigned for a second reading.

Report on the petition of Joseph Spearing Junior & als, granting leave for a Bill, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence & the House concurred.

A communication was received from Mark Harris Esqr Treasurer, elect, signifying his acceptance, & transmitting his bond conditioned for the faithful discharge of the duties of his office - and the same was referred in concurrence with the Senate to the committee who had under consideration the late Treasurers Report and account.
