Met according to adjournment.

Resolve in favor of George Brooks - - in favor of John Clark Junr were severally read once and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.

Report on petition of Charles T Halley - referring the same to the next Legislature, was read and accepted in concurrence.

Leave to Withdraw was reported on Petitions of the Town of Hermon - of Arnold Blaney - and the reports were accepted in concurrence

On motion by Mr Carpenter of Foxcroft Ordered That Messrs Carpenter of Foxcroft, Warren of Durham, Emery of Saco, Lee of Oxford, Taber of Vassalboro', Lake of Bucksport, Marden of Palermo, Eastman of Strong, Fletcher of Thomaston and Packard of Houlton, with such as the Senate may join be a committee to consider the expediency of repealing all laws authorizing licenses for the sale of spirituous liquors &c. Sent up for concurrence.
