That the Committee on the Judiciary be directed to enquire into the expediency of repealing the law where by Innholders & others persons are licensed to retail spiritous liquors. Sent up for concurrence.
On motion by Mr Emery of Montville,
Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be directed to inquire into the expediency of so altering the law regulating divorces, so that the wife, who has a notorious drunken, abusive husband may have the liberty without any expense to herself of giving him a Bill divorcement. Sent up for concurrence.
On motion of Mr Hobbs of Eastport,
Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of making permanent provision by law for the purchase of the usual number of Reports of decisions of the Supreme Judicial Court for the use of the State & for the more speedy publication of said reports. Sent up for concurrence.
