-erintendance of the Clerk for the use of the members.
On motion by Mr Potter of Augusta
Ordered, That the Secretary of State be requested to deliver the Clerk for the use of members of this House the Journals of the House of Representatives of the preceeding Sessions - the Clerk to be responsible for their being returned to the Secretary's Office at the close of the present session of the Legislature.
Remonstrance of Jesse Rowell & others against the right of Ephraim Weeks to hold a seat in the this House as a member from the town of Jefferson, was read and referred to the Committee on Elections.
On motion by Mr Fletcher of Thomaston,
Ordered That the Committee appointed to invite the officiating Clergymen of Augusta to attend upon the House as Chaplains be instructed to request the several regularly officiating Clergymen of Hallowell to act a such in conjunction with the Clergymen of Augusta
And then the House adjourned
