Post Guidelines
- You need to contact us to create a login before you can post.
- Use the Contact Us form with a subject of “user account”
- Include your name or the name of the institution (this will be the name the post will be posted under).
- And a short description for an individual title and organization; for a institution location and contact information (email/ phone).
- We post what you send.
- We schedule the post as we have slots open unless it is noted as date specific, then we post on the date supplied.
- Post should be between 500-2000 words. Most posts will be in the 500 word range.
- Post should include one image. This will be used as a thumbnail and included with the post text. If you would like to include multiple images please contact us.
- Posts should include:
- a short title.
- a link to the online content.
- a category from the list.
- a least one tag.
- Tag(s) should be for what the content is about: subject, location, time period.
- We are looking for content about:
- Online Collections (new or old)
- Online exhibits
- New online resources (Finding Aids, Maine centric Databases, Data sets)
- Write up highlight specific items or Items on a specific topic across collections.
- News – does not have to be online yet
- New projects- Grants, projects just being started.
- Collaborations
- Case studies about projects
- Re-directions from other online sources with abstracts
- For instructions who run their own blog
- If a Maine project makes national new sources
